Don't talk bad about your honey's buddies. He might think you're just jealous and he could hold it against you. If you think his friends are bad influences, mention calmly to your honey how you think they may affect him negatively. He might listen to you but you can't be sure how he'll react. When you see that he's not convinced, and he is uncomfortable about the issue, change the subject. Single? When you're in a terrible first date and you've exhausted all your patience and self-control, glance at your cell phone and exclaim that there's a missed call that you have to get back to. Excuse yourself and go to the bathroom, and prepare the cash for the portion of the bill. Go back to the table and tell your date that you're sorry but there's been an emergency. Tell him it was nice meeting him and leave the cash on the table and then make your exit.
